“Investing in the new aerospace professionals”
Keeping the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen alive by mentoring youth and providing Aerospace Education through STEM partnerships.
Provides k-12/adult community education and scholarships for selected graduating Central Florida area high school seniors pursuing Aerospace Atmospheric Aviation S.T.E.A.M. Education and Careers.
Prior to World War II, African Americans were barred from flying for the U.S. military. The Tuskegee Airmen of the Army Air Corps trained African Americans to fly and maintain combat aircraft at Moton Army Airfield Tuskegee, Alabama in 1941. The Tuskegee Airmen persevered and overcame segregation and prejudice to become one of the most highly decorated and respected fighter groups of World War II.
We honor their legacy to inspire the next generation of Aerospace Professionals, making it known that they come from winners.
The legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen is an important part of American History that must not be lost. To ensure the legacy of their accomplishments and the lessons they’ve taught us are passed on to future generations, we need you. We need your knowledge, fresh ideas and energetic commitment to the pillars of “Legacy Preservation”; “Academic Preparation”, and “Aviation Education”.
We invite you to join us in our mission to preserve the legacy of the Tuskegee Airmen and encouraging youth to explore careers in the aerospace industry.
If you have any questions, please send them to us, we’d love to hear from you. If you’d like more information on how to become a member of this great organization, use the “JOIN” option on the top-level menu or Site Map.
Donors and sponsors are one of the main reasons the Central Florida Chapter is able to be successful. Without contributions from corporations and individuals, our ability to serve the community and our children would be challenged.
